Golf Albarella
The course
Golf Albarella was born in conjunction with the construction of the course on the sea, in 1972.
The elegant structure provides all the services golfers need: club house, restaurant, hotel, golf school, handicap exam.
In recent years, the Albarella Golf Links has hosted various prestigious events such as the International Open of Italy (1986) and the 5th BMW Ladies Open (1991) which saw, also thanks to the particularly rich prize money, the presence of the best players at an international level, it has hosted 17 editions of the PGAI tournament, with the participation of the most famous Italian professionals and in 1998 also one of the six Italian stages of the Challenge Tour.
In 2016 the 13th edition of the Pro Am Fondazione Vialli and Mauro Golf Cup, a major charity event with European Tour professionals, football champions and celebrities.
Over the years, there are also many world champions of sport who have chosen to play and participate in competitions in Albarella: Fiona May, Alessandro Del Piero, Michel Platini are just some of their names.
