The course
The highly technical 27-hole championship course was designed by the English architect Tom Macauley.
The project, in full respect of the Anglo-Saxon school, in addition to the technical characteristics also privileged the aspects related to the environment and the landscape. It is embellished with stretches of water and uncultivated patches, which, thanks to its proximity to the Euganean Hills Park, have favored the presence of a rich fauna.
The Club House
It was once part of the properties of the Emo Capodilista Counts, which include an ancient castle, a splendid Renaissance villa and an ancient farm renowned for the production of wines of great value. Obtained from an old tobacco dryer, skilfully renovated, it offers members and visitors large spaces and numerous services that can be easily used thanks to the new ring road, which guarantees a quick connection with the city center and with all the toll booths.
The ground floor, overlooking the two large putting greens, the driving range and the swimming pool, houses administrative offices, reception, internet point, members' and guests' changing rooms, bar, "Montecchia Green" restaurant, pro shop, exhibition and commercial spaces.
On the first floor are located the "La Montecchia" restaurant and numerous meeting and game rooms, unique in their kind thanks to the excellent renovation which has fully maintained the ancient load-bearing structures of the building.
From the terrace of the restaurant, which overlooks the putting green, you can enjoy breathtaking sunsets, which frame the Euganean Hills and the Garda Alps.
