GEO Award 2023

On the occasion of the first day of the Montecchia National Trophy by TECMA, dr. Paolo Donega' representing the Istituto per il Credito Sportivo, presented the certificates of two environmental certifications to the Golf della Montecchia.

The prizes were collected by the President of the club, Dr. Paolo Casati, together with Maria Paola Casati head pro and manager of the Montecchia Golf Academy, and dr. Alessandro De Luca responsible for the turf section of the Italian Golf Federation.

One of the certificates refers to the fourth three-year renewal of the GEO (Golf Environment Organization) environmental certification achieved by Golf della Montecchia starting from 2013.

The second certificate confirms the GEO Tournament environmental certification for the fifth consecutive year, which Golf della Montecchia and the U.S. KIDS Foundation have obtained for the organization of the Venice Open, an international tournament reserved for under 18s, now in its 9th edition.

Golf della Montecchia is once again a leader in its commitment to environmental sustainability.
